I do always those things that please him
I am He
Deuteronomy 18:18 (KJV) I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
I Do Always Those Things That Please The Father
Types and shadows have been mentioned before. The definition of a type is “a person or thing symbolizing… something.” (Source) The definition of a shadow is “to represent vaguely, mysteriously, or prophetically.” (Source) Enoch is depicted this way in the Bible.
And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. Genesis 5:24
This foreshadows the resurrection of Christ, of Jesus being raised from the dead.
It also has another meaning. Enoch walked with God. Jesus said that he always pleased the Father.
And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. John 8:29
